This week you get to meet a local punk rock band called LUCABRAZZI . They have a bunch of shows coming up in the next few weeks: Including a show in Vegas where their drummer plans to get married on stage ( seriously) . They also happen to be playing an SF show at Edinburgh Castle on May 30th with my band. Now, I usually do ask bands to recommend a few of their friends bands that they think people should check out, but this time, when i asked, all hell broke loose....

TheReaction
This week you get to come along to see one of my favorite local punk bands called The Reaction. Unfortunately, it was their last SF show with their drummer, who is moving to Seattle with his other band. This show was at Thrill House Records, a cool DIY record shop in the outer mission. i was really impressed by all the local releases in stock. If you haven't been down to thrill house yet, you should totally go check them out! I filmed the band while they played down in the basement. After this show they left to go up on a tour of the northwest through Portland and finally up to Seattle.

The Frail
This week you get to meet a two piece indie-tronic band called The Frail. They just played a show in Salt Lake City with our pals in Scissors for Lefty, and they have a show this Tuesday at the Independent. You can get their album over at the Tricycle Records homepage

Tonight you hear a local band called Bears Bears Bears. They have a couple of new recordings for you to listen to on their page. They came up to Lennon studios last weekend to play a couple of their new songs. They have a show at the Music Tree in Morgan Hill coming up on April 18th.

Disgust of Us
This week you get to meet a band from Oakland called Disgust of Us. They have a new album out. You can get it right here. They are playing at Balazo Galley this friday April 11th at the big Pacific Noise anniversary party.

My new band will be playing too, and so will Sister Grizzly. Also Just added a special guest : The Union Trade. With Paintings by Marc Tweed and Jon Weiss. 2183 Mission st

Better Than Aliens
This week you get to see a live performance by Better than Aliens. I have a soft spot for geek rock, so I went and met up with them at the Red Devil Lounge to film this episode. Their quirky existential pop music is full of all kinds of unique hooks and melodies, so if you haven't checked them out yet, you should tune in before they get called back to the mothership.
